I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ( F% X4 g+ v/ Y+ ]% Y9 b% L9 N# P* g- o$ A8 j7 J6 J5 x+ L
and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here $ h- q3 A4 Z' a# i# X4 B
